ECO204 Microeconomic Theory and Applications (for Commerce)
Favourite RCAS event and why:
Although I love all the RCAS events, my favorite one has to be Recruiting Anatomy. It provides the perfect opportunity for students to get a head start to September recruiting, while learning about the different steps of
the recruiting process.

RSM260 Organizational Behaviour
Favourite RCAS event and why:
My favourite event is our annual A.I.R. Conference! It’s amazing to see an entire year of planning lead to students gaining essential skills and growing through participation in our case competition. It’s also a great opportunity
for accounting students to connect with each other as well as with Big 4 firm representatives before the end of the year

Favourite Course:
RSM220 Intermediate Financial Accounting I
Favourite RCAS event and why:
My favourite RCAS event is EXPLORE: CPAs in Finance! It’s really helpful for students who have an interest in both finance and accounting. A variety of companies within the financial sector, from investment firms to large
banks, attend to showcase their career opportunities and CPA programs.

Favourite RCAS event and why:
My favourite RCAS event is CPA Crossroads! It does an amazing job at introducing students to different streams of Accounting. Being able to interact with a multitude of firms in both public practice and industry gives students
the opportunity to see what paths they could go down in their professional careers!

Favourite Course:
RSM260 Organizational Behaviour
Favourite RCAS event and why:
Coincidentally, conference! The RCAS AIR conference was my first ever case competition that I had participated in here at Rotman Commerce. I also had the opportunity to meet industry professionals across the Big 4 in various
lines of services and truly explore what a career in accounting looks like.

Urvi Kachroo
Director of Marketing

Favourite Course:
RSM222 Managerial Accounting I
Favourite RCAS event and why:
My favourite event is Recruiting Anatomy (RA)! It was the first event I planned as an events committee member my first year in RCAS and it was the first RCAS event I attended! I got to hear from a panel of upper year students
who shared their experiences in the industry. I was also given the opportunity to network with industry professionals just before recruiting season!

Jesse Rodrigues
Director of Corporate Relations
Year:

Favourite Course:
RSM324 Canadian Income Tax
Favourite RCAS event and why:
My favourite RCAS event is RCAS Cares! It feels great to be able to annually give back to the community while encouraging students to build connections with representatives from the Big 4. Last year I had the opportunity
to bring donations created by students to the Children’s Book Bank along with other members of our RCAS team, and it was one of my favourite university experiences so far to see where our donations were actually going to be
used, and to see the smiling faces of the children they would be used by.

Joseph Petizian
Director of Finance
Year:

Favourite Course:
RSM219 Introduction to Financial Accounting
Favourite RCAS event and why:
My favourite RCAS event is Recruiting Anatomy (RA)! RA is a networking event that we host every year providing students with exposure to firm representatives from the Big4. The workshops at this event are ones
that are very creative, which aim to help students learn tips and tricks that can help them throughout the application process. Students also get to meet many recruiters from each of the Big4 firms, while having the opportunity
to reconnect with their peers before the start of the new school year. All in all, I believe RA is a great event, and it is one that I look forward to every year!

Taylor Cicvaric
Director of Internal Relations
Year:

Favourite Course:
CIN216 Crime Film Studies
Favourite RCAS event and why:
My favourite RCAS event is Chartered for Success (C4S)! I love being able to meet the incoming class for Rotman, and to ‘debunk’ high school accounting myths. C4S is a really great introduction to accounting and allows
first years to learn more about the CPA pathway in a fun and interactive way!

Julia Dixon
Director of Junior Executives

Favourite Course:
SMC155 1st Year Seminar in Creativity and Technology
Favourite RCAS event and why:
RCAS Cares is my favourite RCAS event! I always enjoy creating tangible donations with Big 4 reps to give back to our local community. The holiday spirits are always so high at this event, which I find makes networking
way more comfortable! There are so many reasons why RCAS Cares is such an iconic RCAS event, which is why it is my favourite!

RSM219 Introduction to Financial Accounting
Favourite RCAS event and why:
RCAS has so many great events, but if I had to choose, RCAS Cares is my favourite. I love how RCAS brings together the RC community and industry professionals to give back to a good cause. I really enjoyed the fun and interactive
workshops that allowed us to create the tangible donations and also network at the same time! Students and Big 4 representatives get to participate in the workshops and learn about the charity, which is why it is one of my
favourite events!
